Free data from the internet

Overview:

In general, the SF-Station will connect to 3 types of data feeds:

• You can use your trading application as a data feed, it’s free and with no cost to you.
• You can use professional data feeds, costs are varying, see list below for supported data vendors.
• Use the world wide web as a data feed. Lots of internet sites offer real time quotes, mostly for free. Select a site and use its data with the SF-Station.

Free professional data feeds:

One of the economic advantages of the SF-Station is its multiple connectivity to data feeds. Not only is it possible to connect to most professional data feeds, the SF-Station gives you the advantage of using the data of your trading application!
If you are a trader and you work with

Trader Workstation (Interactivebrokers),
J-Trader (Patsystems),
M-Trade Pro (Patsystems) or
Proptrader (Patsystems),

then you can use this trading application as a real time data feed !
Now you do not need an additional data feed any longer.
Display and store the data tick by tick.
 

Professional data feeds:

If you don’t use one of the trading applications above or you need real time data that is not supported by them, SF-Station allows you to connect to a variety of data feeds.

Supported vendors:

TaiPan Realtime (www.stoploss.de),
Foxware (www.foxware.de),
Quotespeed (www.tenfore.com) or
eSignal (www.esignal.com) or
QCharts (www.quote.com),

Using TaiPan Realtime gives you an additional feature, historical quotes to close data gaps are also supported.

Apart from the above vendors, SF-Station will connect to any data feed that supports the DDE-interface. With that feature, you will be able to connect to most established data feeds.
